The BAPC cross graced Blue Ash Presbyterian sanctuary when the new building was opened in 1986. It was created by Pat Malone, long time BAPC member and talented wood worker. The cross has a special place in the heart of all those who have worshiped in the old Blue Ash sanctuary. When Blue Ash and Montgomery merged to form Evergreen, the cross was moved to its new location outside the front door of Evergreen Presbyterian Church.
It was a challenging endeavor. The installation was completed and the the cross has been stained, sealed and protected. With the help of Rick Parrish, Peggy Burwinkel, Margie Selm and Dixie Moore the BAPC cross is a permanent part of the new Evergreen Presbyterian Church. Thank you to all those who helped save this important piece of BAPC’s past and make it a part of Evergreen’s future.
